Morrisons total + cricket meeting tonight

Thank you to everyone who came to Morrisons on Saturday, we are able to give out a total on what we raised on the day; a staggering £1,291.90! A huge thanks to Morrisons at Morpeth for having us, a thank you to everyone who let us pack up their shopping and also a big thank you to our dedicated packers.

An article was published in the Journal on Saturday about the cricket match, which can be viewed here.

Also, it's meeting night tonight at the Red Row welfare, so please pop down at seven if you're interested in helping.

Welcome to CricketCast!

Welcome to CricketCast, the blog behind the world record attempt for the longest cricket match in history. Over the next couple of months we will post updates on the attempt, which is to be held in Red Row Welfare, Northumberland. The current record stands at just over 37 hours and our team of intrepid cricketers will attempt to break this record over the bank holiday weekend (26th-27th-28th May). The cricket match will be raising funds for Asthma UK.

Thank you for reading and watch this space for future updates about meetings and events.
